Welcome to the Highland MG Owners' Club!

What We Do

The watchwords of the club are "promote", "preserve", "network", "socialize". We seek to promote MG cars and help members preserve them through networking. Collectively, we have masses of knowledge about many MGs and also where to go when you need some reliable professional help.

The aims of the club are to promote interest in motoring and in particular MG cars and their preservation.

Our members are spread across the Highlands from Portree to Latheron to Cullen to Pitlochry to Onich. We are area 0102 within the Scottish Region of the MG Owners' Club and club information is published monthly in the MGOC magazine "Enjoying MG". We also publish for members our own regular newsletter, "Highland Motoring", and back copies can be viewed here or via the menu to the left.

MG TD at Tain Show in 2016

Socializing is arguably the most important aspect of the club. We are active from April to October annually attending selected car shows and with our own day drives to all points north, east, south and west of Inverness, generally involving a lunch and always a good blether. Members can join and leave these drives as it suits them and we try to avoid being too Inverness-centric. Our last club outing of the year is the "Autumn Amble" involving a weekend away somewhere interesting - although members can join in for just a day or part of a day if they prefer.

New members to the Club are always welcome. Why not join us and have some MG fun? It would be great to see you!

The Highland MG Owners' Club is a member of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs which exists to maintain our freedom to use Yesterday’s Vehicles on Tomorrow’s Roads.
