STOP PRESS - IMPORTANT!

As things are now reverting to something closer to normal following the Covid-19 pandemic, the Highland MG Owners' Club has resumed more normal activities and is running a programme of events through 2024. However, things can change quite quickly so, if you are intending to participate in an advertised event, we strongly advise you to check beforehand as to whether it is going ahead in order to avoid a wasted journey and consequent disappointment.

Events' Calendar

Highland MG Owners' Club organises and participates in a number of events through the year from early Spring through to late October, and there is usually at least one per month, sometimes several.

MGs on the open road! Please click on this link to access our current list of events.

Our events comprise road runs which we ourselves organise, participation in activities organised by other clubs (such as "Drive It Day" each April), and attendance at shows such as the Tain Vintage, Historic and Classic Vehicle Rally held each June. We also have periodic longer trips such as weekends away and mid-week 2 or 3-night stays. One such trip during 2016 encompassed a complete circuit of the North Coast 500 route.

In order to access our current list of events, simply click or tap on the photo above or follow this link.

To see a recent example of one of our longer expeditions, please see the Garvault House Trip.

Important:

The club events which we organise are not planned as any form of time trial, race or competition, but only as social outings of like-minded enthusiasts. Please observe speed limits and, if travelling together, leave plenty of space between you and the car in front to allow faster traffic to overtake. Likewise, if you are causing a build-up of traffic behind you, please pull over to allow queues to clear. It is very important that we show due consideration to other road users. It is your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy, insured, licensed, MOT’d and has all the relevant documentation.

Also Important: Disclaimer

Events' organisers please note: if you are in any way concerned that your personal contact details may fall into the wrong hands, you should ensure that the contact information you provide to us cannot be traced back to you personally - e.g. provide the e-mail address of your club or organisation rather than your own personal e-mail address. We shall assume that we have your full permission to publish on this website any information you provide to us. Current List of Events

You are advised to contact those organising non-club events as dates and times can change before the event. If you find out about any event that you think the members may be interested in, please get in touch and it can be added to the diary.

Our Events' Calendar is now available here as a downloadable PDF document which can be saved to your device and/or printed out, if you wish.

New members to the Club are always welcome. Why not join us and have some MG fun? It would be great to see you!
